03 November, 2026 – NAOGAON, Bangladesh — Police recovered the body of an unidentified Hindu woman, estimated to be around 45 years old, from the seating area of a clinic in Prosadpur Bazar of Manda Upazila, Naogaon district, on Tuesday.
According to local residents, the woman’s body was found lying in the waiting area of Muktijoddha Clinic and Diagnostic Centre, near Upazila Medical Junction in Prosadpur Bazar.
After discovering the body, locals alerted the police. News of the incident quickly spread throughout the area, drawing a crowd of residents to the scene.
Police from Manda Police Station subsequently arrived and recovered the body.
Confirming the incident, Manda Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Abzal Hossain said the deceased woman was not a resident of the local area and her identity had not yet been established.
He further stated that no visible injury marks had been found on her body. Police recovered the body and took it to the police station. It will be sent to the Naogaon District Hospital morgue for a post-mortem examination.
The circumstances surrounding the woman’s death remain unclear. Police are expected to determine the cause of death and establish her identity following further investigation and the post-mortem examination.
