26 September, 2026 – Jessore : A ninth-grade student of Jahanabad Cantonment Public School and College has reportedly gone missing from Abhaynagar Upazila of Jessore. The missing student has been identified as Tanushree Biswas, 14, daughter of Amar Biswas and Jharna Biswas, residents of Nalamara village in Siddhipasha Union of the upazila.
According to her family, Tanushree went outside her home at around noon on September 20, 2026. She has not been found since then. Her family said she was in good health when she went missing.
Her disappearance has left her family deeply worried and distressed. Since she went missing, family members have searched various possible locations and contacted relatives, classmates, and acquaintances, but have not received any information about her whereabouts.
Unable to locate his daughter, her father Amar Biswas filed a General Diary (GD) at Abhaynagar Police Station in Jessore. The GD number is 1391.
The family has appealed to people across the country for assistance in locating Tanushree. Anyone who may have seen her or has any information about her whereabouts is requested to contact the family at the mobile number provided by them as soon as possible.
The family has also announced a reward for information that leads to her whereabouts.
