29 October, 2026- Nilphamari:- A Hindu youth named Tushar Roy was allegedly attacked and hacked with sharp weapons in what his family described as a planned attempt to kill him in Araji Shimulbari village, Ward No. 4, under Shimulbari Union in Jaldhaka Upazila, Nilphamari district, Bangladesh.
The alleged attack was reportedly carried out by Al-Amin Hossain and his associates. Following the incident, the victim’s family organised a human chain protest and demonstration, demanding the immediate arrest and punishment of Al-Amin Hossain and those allegedly involved in the attack.
The family called on the relevant authorities to take appropriate legal action against the accused and ensure justice for Tushar Roy.
